These Terms of Service govern the use of the platform agur.app, operated by G6 Agency AG, Alte Steinhauserstrasse 21, 6330 Cham, Switzerland (hereinafter "Provider"). By registering for or using agur.app, you accept these Terms of Service.
1. Service description
agur.app is an AI-powered Bible study tool. The service searches the Holy Scriptures and verified publications and provides source-bound answers to user questions.
Answers are generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) and are bound to verified sources. Every statement is provided with a source reference.

2. Registration and user account
Registration is required to use agur.app. You are obliged to provide truthful information and to keep your access credentials confidential.
Each user may only create one account. Sharing access credentials with third parties is not permitted. The Provider reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of violation of these Terms.
3. Free trial

After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Without an active subscription, access to core features will be restricted.

5. Payment and billing

For annual billing, the full amount for 12 months is charged in advance. Billing occurs automatically at the start of each billing period.
In case of failed payments, access will be restricted after a grace period. The Provider will notify the user by email about outstanding payments.
6. Cancellation

After cancellation, you retain full access until the end of the paid billing period. After that, your account reverts to free status.
Refunds of amounts already paid for the current billing period are not provided, unless required by applicable law.

8. Limitation of liability

AI-generated answers do not constitute theological advice and do not replace independent Bible study. Users are encouraged to verify all answers against the original sources.
The Provider's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence to the extent permitted by law. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
The Provider is not liable for temporary unavailability of the service due to maintenance, technical disruptions, or force majeure.
9. User obligations
The user agrees to use agur.app only for lawful purposes. In particular, it is prohibited to:
• Use the platform for unlawful, offensive, or discriminatory content.
• Perform automated access (bots, scrapers) without written permission from the Provider.
• Use the service in a manner that impairs the functionality or security of the platform.
• Systematically copy, distribute, or commercially reuse content from the platform.
10. Availability
The Provider strives for high platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
11. Changes to these Terms

If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

13. Final provisions
Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
